Primary Goals

  1. To promote problem based learning by solving  a series of problems of increasing complexity in software
  2. To introduce many technologies associated with web 2.0 – Scripting languages, AJAX, Mashups, RIA, web services
  3. To create simple, usable , open source products (product based learning)
  4. To provide facilities to learn all aspects of software development – designing, coding, testing, packaging, reusing
  5. We will spend considerable time in reading, revising and writing code (inspired by  Programmer’s Food Pyramid)
